Hand sanitizer dispensers for banks
The threat of spreading germs that lead to illnesses increases in areas where transactions occur. According to an article by Jimmy Smith of AssociatedContent.com entitled "How Much Dirt and Bacteria is on Money?", money is one of the dirtiest things humans come in contact with. The primary reason for this is that bills move from person to person. The job of a cashier or bank teller is particularly dangerous because they are in constant contact with money. Aside from wearing gloves, banks can protect their employees and customers by offering hand sanitizer dispensers for banks.
But why use a dispenser instead of a bottle of sanitizer? Not all employees and customers will carry their own sanitizing product on them. And the small of bottles of sanitizer generate excess plastic waste. Many of these dispensers are available in an automatic version. It is preferably to provide an automatic dispenser because customers and employees will not have to touch a dirty surface in order to dispense the liquid or gel onto their hand. It is also preferred because the automatic dispenser will dispense the correct, even amount of sanitizing liquid or gel every time.
In a business sense it is in the banks best interest to offer these dispensers. When they are openly available and displayed customers and employees will feel more at ease. If a potential client walks into the bank even without making mention of it they will feel more comfortable in the cleanliness of the bank. Banks can expect less days off from their employees as it has been proven that the use of sanitizer prevents the spread of germs and therefore illness.
Some manufacturers of hand sanitizer dispensers are now offering the units with additional space for advertising or messaging. This is also in the banks best interest because the sanitizer refills can pay for themselves. The bank can either sell the media space or use the space to communicate important new promotions or messages.
