The top ten financial freedom tactics
Finding the best ways to financial freedom cab be vexing at times, especially when you are in debt and working more hours than you eat and sleep just to make minimum payments each month on your credit cards. However, don't let it get you down. The first tactic in getting to a point of not having to worry about money is staying positive and focused on a goal. Your first step is to sit down and make a list of the financial freedom tactics that are going to work for you.
Make a budget and stick to it no matter what. Cut out all frivolous spending and make sure that you purchase only those things that you must have out of necessity and survival. Don't go out and buy things that will have no bearing on whether you eat and have a roof over your head. Luxuries are nice, but they are even nicer when you can afford to buy them without feeling overwhelmed and guilty.
One way to have a detailed record of what you are spending is to keep all your receipts, even the ones for a pack of gum at the corner convenience store. At the end of each month, add these receipts up and you won't be able to deny how much you have spent. You may be surprised at how much you spend that you really don't have to. Take out the amounts that are not bills or food and see how much you get. This is the amount that you need to cut out immediately.
One of the best and oldest financial freedom tactics is to stay out of debt. This may sound easy, but for those who are there, it seems as though the credit card bills never go down. The truth is they aren't if you are playing only the minimum balance each month. Remember that money that you cut back on when you were adding up those receipts? Add that to your minimum payments so that you can finally see a change in your debt balance.
Find ways to entertain at home without spending more money. Your best bet is to not spend any money on recreation until you can get yourself out of debt. Go to the parks and lakes in the summer for fun instead of taking expensive trips to the beaches or amusement parks. These kinds of things can come later when you don't have to stress out over the money to finance them. There are plenty of things that you can do at home that are fun and don't cost a dime. This is easier even when you have kids to focus on and keeping them entertained. Get outside and play hide and seek with them. Play a game of volleyball or catch. These things are free and will build memories for your children that no amount of money can buy.
Learning financial freedom tactics that are going to help you in achieving your goal of a stress free life is worth all the sacrifices you are going to have to make. Don't give up and keep your head high and the pay off will certainly be worth it.
