An introduction to specialist accountants who are committed to helping you pay less tax.

Pay less tax, its possible
Pay less tax! Now there is a phrase I am sure we would all love to hear and rather than we then wake up to realise it was all a dream, perhaps this time we hear it for real! Less tax to pay!

What do you most look for when seeking an accountant? Perhaps locality is the most important to you, price structure or friendly service? I am sure all of these things check the right boxes but one of the most common things an accountant does for us is work out how much we have to pay in tax each and every year.

What area of your financial life would most benefit from paying less tax? I guess it depends on just how much is saved when you pay less tax. Perhaps you will save just enough to pay off another important bill or perhaps the figure will be great enough to do something a bit more special with it?

There are some accountancy practices out there that genuinely do their best on our behalf not only to provide that friendly, affordable service we all wish we had but also to help and instruct us how we can pay less tax, all within the law of course.

It is important to stress the importance of what you are looking for when selecting an accountant. Most accountants services are now advertised online and there are many thousands of them so draw up a basic list of your requirements before taking the plunge. If you are looking to pay less tax then dont forget to emphasise this to your prospective accountants company.

Tax issues can be a minefield of complexity and unless we are trained ourselves it is probably very wise to permit an accountant to deal with all our tax details. There could be such things as tax disputes to settle including employment status disputes, capital allowances, is it plant or property? There could also be employee benefit disputes or settlements legislation.

Most accountants should be able to advise you of your liabilities and tax position but some accountants are prepared to go the extra mile for their clients and help you put together a tax planning strategy. Some of the things you may need to consider in a tax plan are as follows:

Business taxes
Personal taxes
VAT planning
Inheritance tax
Capital gains
Exit strategies

Hopefully when tax deadline day comes along next time, our anguish can at least be a little less than last year. Pay less tax really is sounding good!
